Mechanical integration.

Bring the PCB and enclosure into the same mechanical definition. INVEISSET supports board positioning, component clearance and connector access within the surrounding product.

Fit the board to its surroundings.

Position and mounting
Board edges, mounting holes and support positions establish where the PCB sits.
Component clearance
Parts occupy space above and below the board. Leads, protruding features and nearby hardware need room.
Multiple boards
Board positions and mating connectors need a common mechanical reference.

Fit also means access.

Plan for the connections and the order in which the product comes together.

Connectors

Leave room for mating parts to enter, engage and be removed. Connector positions need to correspond to enclosure openings.

Cable paths

Allow for the route beyond the connector, alongside neighboring components, mounting points and enclosure walls.

Assembly access

Fasteners and internal connections need a reachable assembly path. Assembly order can influence their positions.

Keep electrical and mechanical changes together. A moved mounting hole can affect routing; a different connector can change the footprint and enclosure opening.
